High Euthanasia Rate in Feline Acquired Myasthenia Gravis

A recent study has shown that the rate of euthanasia in feline MG is 58%. The occurrence of a cranial mediastinal mass was 52%, higher than previously reported. Unlike in dogs where spontaneous remissions are common, spontaneous remission in feline MG is uncommon and the treatment for feline MG is usually long term. Click here to read the paper.
